Plan and billing
MannaBooks has a free plan and three paid plans. Every new business starts with 30 days of every feature, then chooses a plan or carries on with Free.

See today's prices on Organisation > Plan and billing or the public pricing page. Payroll is an add-on charged per employee on the payroll. Accountants and self-service staff never use up a seat.
Paying
- Open Organisation > Plan and billing (Owners and Admins).
- Choose a plan, then monthly or yearly (a year costs ten months).
- Enter a discount code if you have one, and your M-Pesa number.
- Approve the prompt on your phone. The plan runs on from the end of the time already paid.
You can also pay from the M-Pesa menu: Lipa na M-Pesa > Paybill, the MannaBooks paybill number, and your business's account number (it starts with MB and is shown on the page). It is matched to your business automatically.
Reminders
Owners and Admins get an email 7 days and 1 day before the trial ends or the plan renews, the day after a payment is missed, and when the business turns read-only. Each reminder is sent once.
If a payment is missed
- The day after the paid time ends, the plan shows Payment due.
- After 14 more days the business becomes read-only: you can still open, print and export everything, but not change it.
- Paying brings everything back at once. Nothing is ever deleted.
You can move to Free at any time. Parts of MannaBooks your plan doesn't include stay readable, so your records are always there.
Founding businesses
Businesses that joined during the pilot are free until MannaBooks launches, then get a discount on their first year.
