Trial balance

The trial balance lists every account's balance on a date, on its debit or credit side. Because every entry balances, total debits always equal total credits. MannaBooks shows Balanced when they do and flags it if they ever don't.

Using it

• Pick the as at date; the default is today.
• Click an account to see the entries behind its balance.
• Export CSV to share it with your accountant or open it in Excel.

Accountants use the trial balance to check the books before preparing the profit and loss account, the balance sheet and tax returns. Those reports arrive in a later release.
